Fosti - short for Future of Sales Tax Innovation - exists because the best SALT practices in the country are still running multi-client, multi-state compliance on spreadsheets and email threads. Not because they lack ambition, but because no one built them the right tool.

Why we built Fosti

Sales and use tax compliance has quietly become one of the most demanding recurring service lines a CPA firm can run. Monthly filing cycles across dozens of states, complex client data, strict deadlines - and none of the software designed for it.

We spent years inside SALT practices - preparing returns, managing client cycles, navigating the same monthly chaos. We know what the work actually looks like. And we got tired of watching skilled teams burn hours on coordination that software should handle. So we built the tool we always wished we had.

Fosti is that platform. A purpose-built workflow layer that replaces tribal knowledge and ad-hoc coordination with structured, auditable, repeatable process - and a white-label client experience that makes every firm look like a modern service company.

Yes, the market is moving fast. Automated compliance tools are multiplying, and businesses have more self-serve options than ever. But sales tax is not a problem you set and forget.
